Denman Bakehouse in Denman, NSW is expanding production and growing our product range. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is a full time position and offers flexibility to support your lifestyle. As a Baker, you will prepare and produce high quality baked goods while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent standards across all baking processes. What you''ll be doing Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, rolls, pies, cakes, and other bakery items Following recipes, production schedules, and quality standards Mixing doughs, operating bakery equipment, and monitoring baking times and temperatures Ensuring all products are presented to a high standard before serving or display Maintaining strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in all work areas Assisting with stock rotation, ordering ingredients, and general bakery operations Contributing positively to the daily workflow and team environment within the bakery What we''re looking for A formal qualification in baking or relevant commercial bakery experience (1 year minimum) Strong technical skills across bread, pastry, and general baking production Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills A proactive, reliable approach with a positive "can do" attitude Commitment to consistent quality, cleanliness, and professional standards High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality baked products What we offer Competitive hourly rates with opportunities for skill growth and career development A supportive, respectful team environment Access to ongoing training and professional development Staff discounts on bakery products About us Denman Bakehouse is a well established local bakery known for fresh, traditional, and high quality baked goods.
