Visitor Experience Attendant (Kitchen Hand) We''re building our Winter Hospitality Team at Mt Baw Baw!!! Join us for a unique opportunity to work and play in the alpine snow fields this winter. The opportunity: We are looking for Kitchenhands (Back-of-House staff) to work alongside our talented Cooks in our busy kitchens, who ''pump out'' scrumptious meals and snacks 7 days a week. Our Cooks rely on the Kitchenhands to assist them with maintaining the cleanliness of the workstations and basic food preparation. As part of the broader hospitality team, you may from time to time be required to assist with some frontofhouse duties such as clearing tables. If you have a minimum of 12 months experience as a kitchen hand and are eager to develop your skills further in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you! Key responsibilities include: - Follow established rules, procedures, and service standards. - Plan and prioritise tasks to meet food and beverage operational requirements. - Take responsibility for assigned duties while operating within a supervised environment. - Proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience in food and beverage. - Work collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring smooth service delivery and a positive dining experience for guests. What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? - Safe Food Handling Certificate - Prior experience working in a food and beverage environment (desirable) - Prior experience in safe handling and storage of food products and following proper sanitation practices (desirable) - Effective communication skills - Flexibility to work in other departments/roles The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights. - Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check Employee type - Have an Australian driver''s licence (Victorian licence preferred) - Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests. - Available to work weekends and school holidays. - Available from June to 30 September (or the declared snow season) Need more details?
