Overview With the recent installation and commissioning of three state-of-the-art IGM Robotic Welding Systems at Bowhill Engineering, we are growing our Robotics Team & seeking an additional Robotic Welder Operator. This is an exciting & unique opportunity to work with worldclass technology in our new B5 Fabrication Hall, contributing to the production of over 660 precisionengineered steel tunnel segments for the Torrens to Darlington Project & future heavy structural steel projects. About the Role Advancing Bowhill Engineerings robotic capabilities, a blend of technical skills, knowledge of welding processes, and familiarity with robotic programming and maintenance is key to success in this role. Through the daily operating, maintaining, and programming you will ensure efficient, highquality welds & products and look to increase cost effectiveness of manufacturing operations of our robotic welding systems. Proficiency with CAD software or similar tools, experience in quality control, and understanding of safety protocols are highly beneficial. Sharing our big picture focus, on enhancing production efficiency, implementing improvements and increasing our robotic capabilities, you will play a key role in operating advanced robotic welding cells, deliver high performance & specialized welding requirements to produce highquality fabrication outcomes. Key Responsibilities & Requirements Operate fully automated robotic welding systems Develop advanced offline and online welding programs Strong faultfinding and troubleshooting skills Strong work ethic and commitment to quality A handson attitude we dont have officebased supervisors in the mix here.
