We work across outdoor activations, festivals, community events, corporate shows, large-scale public events, and bespoke brand experiences.Our team is collaborative, energetic, and committed to excellence we take pride in creating seamless, memorable moments for audiences and clients.We are looking for an experienced and proactive AV Technician to join our crew and support the delivery of outdoor productions with professionalism, creativity, and technical expertise.About the RoleAs an AV Technician at Be Productions, you will play a key role in preparing, installing, and operating audio, vision, and lighting systems for outdoor events. You''ll work closely with our producers, project managers, and technical leads to ensure every show is delivered to the highest standard.This is a handson, fastpaced role suited to someone who thrives onsite, loves problemsolving, and enjoys working in a team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Preparation & SetupPrepare, test, and maintain AV equipment including speakers, consoles, microphones, lighting fixtures, LED screens, and vision systems.Assist with warehouse prep, vehicle loading, and logistics prior to events.Install and configure outdoor event setups including PA systems, lighting rigs, LED displays, vision switching, temporary infrastructure, and event power.Conduct preshow technical checks to ensure all systems are operating optimally.Onsite Event OperationOperate audio, lighting, or vision systems during live events in outdoor environments.Provide technical support throughout the event and resolve issues quickly and calmly under pressure.Work closely with Be Productions event leads, stage managers, and creatives to deliver seamless show execution.Interact professionally with clients, performers, and stakeholders, representing Be Productions onsite.Safety & ComplianceAdhere to Be Productions'' safety procedures and all sitespecific requirements.Ensure all outdoor equipment setups are secured, weatherprotected, and riskassessed.Support safe cable management, rigging practices, and site bumpin/out workflows.PostEvent ProcessAssist with bumpout, packdown, and returning equipment to warehouse condition.Report any faults, repairs, or maintenance requirements to the technical manager.Complete event documentation as required (equipment logs, reports, checklists).Skills & ExperienceExperience in live event AV (audio, lighting, or vision), ideally within outdoor or largeformat event environments.Strong understanding of AV signal flow and troubleshooting across audio, DMX, and video systems.Ability to work efficiently onsite, often under time pressure or changing conditions.Good communication and teamwork skills.Physically capable of safe manual handling and outdoor work.Experience with consoles and systems commonly used by Be Productions.Knowledge of event networking and IPbased AV systems.Experience with temporary power for events.Relevant certifications (EWP, First Aid, White Card).Who You AreYou''re adaptable, positive, and bring a "solutionsfirst" mindset.You enjoy collaborating with creatives, technicians, and producers.You take pride in delivering highquality, reliable setups.You are clientfocused and understand the importance of professionalism onsite.You thrive in the outdoor events environment no two days are the same, and you love that.Working ConditionsVariable hours including early mornings, late nights, and weekend work depending on event schedules.Occasional regional or interstate travel for larger projects.Why Join Be Productions?Be part of a friendly, creative, and supportive team culture.Work on diverse and exciting outdoor events across Australia.Opportunities for further training, development, and specialisation in AV areas.A chance to grow within a production company that values innovation, collaboration, and exceptional delivery. #J-18808-Ljbffr
