JOB DESCRIPTION An exciting opportunity for a Facilities Specialist to join our growing team! Job Purpose This role will be responsible for facility compliance of all container park facilities nationally. The role ensures that container park infrastructure, fixed assets, and associated services are safe, functional, cost-effective, and aligned with organisational standards and regulatory requirements. This position leads the planning, coordination, and monitoring of maintenance programs, capital works, contractor performance, and risk management activities to ensure nationally consistent service delivery. Key Accountabilities Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all Container Parks infrastructure Coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs Provide day-to-day support to operations teams by responding to facility-related issues that may impact container park activities Assist with urgent repairs or coordination of maintenance to minimise operational disruptions Update maintenance logs, work orders, and fixed asset registers as required Maintain records of facility inspections, maintenance activities, and repair works Ensure consistency in facilities management standards, processes, and service delivery across all sites Assist with onboarding contractors and ensuring compliance with site safety requirements Coordinate contractor access to the facility and ensure works are conducted within approved permits and safety procedures Coordinate day-to-day site services essential to operations Manage the endtoend purchasing process for facilities and operational scheduled services, including raising PRs/POs, coordinating service delivery, and receipting works to ensure accurate cost control Participate in routine safety inspections and hazard identification activities Qualifications, Skills And Experience Minimum 5 years experience with facilities management Minimum 3 years experience in a procurement role Experience using financial systems (Oracle preferred) Ability to work autonomously Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and other database management programs necessary Supporting equality DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
