The Opportunity Were excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Automotive Parts Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Malaga WA. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry, enjoys working in a handson environment, and is looking to build a rewarding career with longterm growth potential. Role responsibilities Forklifting vehicles in yard and in workshop Perform basic Quality Control tasks and complete washing of Engines, Transmissions and other parts to ensure parts meet business quality standards Scanning, photographing and labelling parts Ensure parts are collected for packing and wrapping in a timely manner Packing and wrapping parts for transport Loading stillages with parts and loading stillage on truck Assisting with stock and consumables counts Follow all site safety requirements General yard and forklift duties as directed The successful candidate will have the following: MUST HAVE - Forklift license (7 tonne forklift on site) Knowledge of mechanical car parts and panels Experience & Skills Problem solving Able to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independently Well-developed interpersonal skills Strong written and communication skills Able to professionally represent the organization Able to follow processes Demonstrate initiative and contribute to Continuous Improvement We know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
