About The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Branch Technical Officer Electronic Security to join our Western Australia branch. This role is ideal for a technically capable security professional who enjoys combining handson system expertise, technical problemsolving, and branchlevel support to help deliver reliable outcomes for clients and field teams. As the Branch Technical Officer, you will support the delivery and ongoing performance of electronic security systems across client sites. You will provide installation support, system configuration, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and technical guidance to ensure systems operate effectively and meet company and industry standards. Working closely with technicians and operational teams, you will serve as a key technical point of contact within the branch, helping resolve issues, improve system reliability, and maintain consistent technical quality across projects and service work. This position is well suited to someone who takes pride in their technical knowledge, works well in a team environment, and is committed to safety, compliance, and highquality service delivery. Reporting to the General Manager WA, you will contribute to the branchs technical capability by providing practical support, troubleshooting expertise, and oversight of electronic security systems and related technical processes. Skills & Experience Proven experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms). Programming of fire alarm systems Strong understanding of IPbased security technologies and networking fundamentals. Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security platforms. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics. Excellent problemsolving and diagnostic skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams. Relevant technical qualifications in electronics, security technology, or a related field preferred. Current drivers licence Qualifications & Licences Current WA Security Installer Licence (essential) Security Consultant Licence (desirable) ACMA Open Cabling Registration with relevant endorsements Certificate or trade qualification in Technical Security, Electrotechnology, or a related field Highly regarded certifications: Gallagher, Inner Ranged, Integriti, Axis, Milestone etc Current WA Drivers Licence White Card and ability to work on construction or client sites (desirable) Security Clearance Requirements NV1 Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1) or the ability to obtain and maintain NV1 clearance. Willingness to undergo government security vetting and background checks as required. Desirable Experience with integrated security management systems. Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements. Experience supporting large or multisite security deployments.
