Job Description

High Voltage Technician - Leading Hand The Position Youll lead the delivery of HV and LV works, supervise field teams, and ensure exceptional outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Supervising HV and LV installations, upgrades, maintenance repairs and commissioning Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring QA compliance Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures Liaise directly with clients to coordinate works, manage expectations, and resolve issues Undertake HV Equipment Assembly Performing HV cabling installation and terminations Support HV Equipment testing and commissioning Leading small teams on-site and coordinating project delivery Planning labour, materials, and schedule to meet project timeframes Perform technical HV/LV works based on client specifications and drawings Lead and supervise on-site teams to ensure safe and timely project delivery Plan and schedule labour and materials to meet project timeframes Promote a positive and proactive safety culture on-site Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of team capabilities The Candidate Electrical Trade Qualifications Current CPR and LV Rescue certificate Proven experience in HV installations and team supervision Experience in HV installations Police and DCSI clearances The ability to work well within a team-based environment Current & Full SA Driver''s Licence Advanced computer skills, predominantly in Excel and AutoCAD Strong knowledge of electrical standards and drawings Excellent communication and customer service skills. The successful applicant will preferably have: Commitment to safe work practices Good attention to detail Problem solving skills Have MIG welding experience Welder who has experience in fabrication and welding of steel Schedule Full time positions available: Monday Friday & with overtime. Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
