As we find new ways to connect rural communities with food, animal feed and industrial customers around the world, we are proud to say were leading the way in sustainable agriculture.About the roleAs our Maintenance Supervisor, you''ll take charge of a high performing team of tradespeople and contractors- guiding, coaching and inspiring them to deliver safe, reliable and effcient operations accross our sites. This is your chance to combine hands on technical knowledge with big picture thinking, all while driving continuous improvement in an environment that values innovation, safety and teamwork.Specifically, the role entails:Preventative and planned maintenance (PPM): setting schedules, monitoring progress, reporting on performance and ensuring work is completed on time and to standardMaintenance: manage open work orders to completion; prioritise activities and balancing labour and budgetBreakdowns: manage response to breakdowns, especially those impacting service levels; resource allocation; records management; fatigue management during critical breakdown repairs; ensuring critical parts are on handBudget: ensure maintenance spend in line with budget; support for maintenance labour spend; escalate high cost repairs to Maintenance ManagerContinuous improvement: building a culture where every team member looks for smarter, safer and more efficient ways of workingAbout youOur ideal candidate holds a trade certificate in a relevant discipline (electrical, fitting / machining, boiler-making for example) who brings both technical skill and leadership confidence to an industrial environment.
