THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL Service and maintain equipment and vehicles Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Conduct plant and equipment inspections Attend to breakdowns Work on Hydraulic systems Perform basic automotive electrical works ABOUT YOU Highly established attention to Safe work practices Australianrecognised Trade Certificate with posttrade experience Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills Demonstrated problemsolving skills Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment Diesel EWPS up to 135ft Telehandlers Buses Tilt Trays Excavator Skid Steer Loader Scissor Lifts Light Trucks Light Vehicles Generators up to 132KVA THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical Highrisk work License (with WP class) (desirable) Current Unrestricted Drivers License White / Blue Construction Card ABOUT PHE GROUP & PHE MINING PHE Group is an electrical and instrumentation contractor with more than 50 years experience, delivering projects across Australias mining regions.
