Job Description Provide expert legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts. Assist in managing legal risks and ensuring adherence to legislative requirements. Support investigations and prepare legal briefs for enforcement actions. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues. Represent the organisation in legal proceedings or at external forums, as required. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks. Provide training and guidance on legal matters to internal teams. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Solicitor should have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law and admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer. Proven experience in providing high-quality legal advice within a regulated environment. Strong criminal law knowledge with significant prosecution and advocacy experience. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
