Sustainability & Environment Director Energy & Utilities- Australia & New Zealand Drive sustainability and decarbonisation strategy across major energy and infrastructure projects in ANZ. Executive-facing role with national impact, strong visibility, and career progression within a Tier 1 ASX-listed organisation. The Opportunity Downer is seeking a strategic and influential Director to lead environmental governance, sustainability performance and decarbonisation strategy across our Energy & Utilities business. Reporting to the Executive General Manager Finance, with a functional line to the Group General Manager Environment & Sustainability, this role is pivotal in setting the strategic direction for sustainability across a complex, geographically dispersed portfolio spanning Power Projects, Utilities, Water, Telecommunications and Industrial services. As the senior authority on sustainability and environment, you will partner closely with Executive, General and Operational leaders to embed sustainability into business decision-making, strengthen governance frameworks, and deliver measurable environmental outcomes across Australia and New Zealand. This is a critical leadership role shaping long-term decarbonisation and risk management strategies across the business.
