About The Role We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Churchill Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part-time basis. Youll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children. Youll also enjoy Salary & Compensation - Discounted Private Health Insurance Work Life Balance - Working up to 34.5 hours during the school term, increasing during vacation care Working Environment - Career Coaching and Progression Opportunities What Youll Do Support the daily running of the service Assist with child-led, play-based programming Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs Maintain compliance and support administration processes Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community What Youll Bring A Diploma in Childrens Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards) Demonstrated experience in childrens programming and administration Strong communication and customer service skills A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children Familiarity with the National Quality Framework About YMCA OSHC The YMCA provides Outside School Hours Care services to 60 school communities across South East Queensland.
