Due to unprecedented growth Norseld Photonics now requires people to fill multiple roles.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Adelaide, SA, for an Electronics Technician specialising in optics. The role involves assembling, soldering, and testing electronic components, conducting troubleshooting and repairs, and ensuring the maintenance and functionality of optical and electromechanical systems. The Electronics Technician will also play an integral role in supporting engineering teams with technical expertise and ensuring compliance with quality standards.The role requires the following experience and skills:Certificate III in Engineering Electrical/Electronic of higher.Experience in fault localisation in electronic circuits and devicesKnowledge and experience with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/IPC-7722).Strong hand skills and high attention to detailAbility to read and follow technical instructions or drawingsExperience in Electro Optical and/or Infrared systems highly regardedGood oral and written communication skillsAccuracy, thoroughness and attention to detailAbility to handle small and delicate partsAble to work independently and as part of a teamEligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).Please forward your CV and contact details to [email protected] #J-18808-Ljbffr
