Job DescriptionJoin a growing organisation working on a critical Western Australian infrastructure project. As an Asset Inspector you will be responsible for the inspection, assessment and reporting of overhead and underground power assets, as well as surrounding vegetation. This will be a drivein, driveout role, working 10 days on and 4 days off. This is a dynamic, handson fieldbased role offering both variety and longterm career prospects in the energy and utilities sector.ResponsibilitiesInspect powerlines, power poles and associated electrical infrastructureIdentify and report defects on assets and vegetation encroachmentsConduct vegetation assessments and issue notices to landownersPlan and scope maintenance and upgrade worksCarry out handson tasks such as replacing wires, repairing earths and installing pole reinforcementsEnter data accurately via Western Power systems on an iPadQualificationsCert II or III in ESI Asset Inspection (preferred)White CardValid CClass drivers licence or higherBasic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, data entry on iPad)Strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills for liaising with customers and landownersWillingness to travel and stay away from home when requiredBenefits$250 per night liveaway allowance (when required)Enjoy the freedom of more independent workWeekly pay and regular rostered breaksDIDO roster (10 days on and 4 days off)Full training providedCompany vehicleUniform providedSecure, longterm opportunity with career progression pathwaysBe part of a growing and essential industry contributing to WAs infrastructureSalaryAnnual Salary: A$74,000 A$85,000Currency: AUD #J-18808-Ljbffr
