We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled fulltime Workshop Foreman (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic) to join our busy workshop in Wingfield, SA. Benefits A competitive base hourly rate Good overtime opportunities Company uniform and PPE items provided On the job training A professional, teamoriented work environment Job security Responsibilities Maintain a fleet of waste collection vehicles and associated equipment Supervise and manage the workshop and mechanical staff Prepare and submit reporting requirements Assist in staff training and development Assist with major and minor repairs as required Help manage emergency breakdowns as they arise Carry out scheduled maintenance Qualifications Experience in managing staff A current heavy rigid truck drivers licence Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Occupational Health & Safety Good communication and organisational skills Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics or welding is an advantage Forklift licence is an advantage Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience. In accordance with our recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a PreEmployment Medical, which includes a drug test.
