In addition, Wyloo maintains a portfolio of exploration projects throughout the state of Western Australia and a strategic investment in Greatland, a leading precious and base metals explorer and developer.You can find out more about us on our website at Wyloo.comYour opportunity at WylooOur Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the heart of our corporate integrity. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for building and embedding Wyloos formal GRC function including developing the frameworks, processes and team that will underpin how we manage risk, meet regulatory obligations and uphold sound governance standards across our mining operations and development projects.This is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark and shape something from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of operational realities and corporate obligations, influencing how decisions are made, how risks are understood and how we stay accountable to stakeholders, communities and regulators.Youll contribute to work that has long-term significance for our business and for the responsible development of critical minerals that the world needs.What youll bring to WylooYou bring at least seven years of experience in enterprise risk management, with a proven track record of designing and implementing risk and compliance frameworks in complex, mid-to-large scale organisations. A background in a Big 4 or banking environment would set you up well for the rigour and commercial mindset this role requires. A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline is expected, and familiarity with ISO 31000 or equivalent standards will be highly regarded. Membership or qualification with the Governance Institute of Australia is a bonus.You have a hands-on, practical approach and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves whether that''s facilitating a risk workshop with a project team, preparing board-level reporting for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, or developing a policy from scratch. You can translate complex GRC concepts into language that operational managers can engage with and you take real pride in making risk management something people value.You build trusted relationships with ease across site and corporate teams, with executives and external stakeholders alike. You''re organised, analytical, and bring a calm, pragmatic head to fast-moving situations.
