COFFEE CO-OP PTY LTD T/A Axil Coffee Roaster Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing hospitality business dedicated to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking two skilled and passionate Chefs to join our team. Position Overview: The Chefs will be responsible for planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food in our dining establishment, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and efficiency. Qualifications: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) Relevant experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen Key Responsibilities: Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discussing food preparation issues with managers and kitchen and waiting staff Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures Preparing and cooking food to a high standard Explaining and enforcing hygiene and food safety regulations Selecting and training kitchen staff where required Freezing and preserving foods when necessary Skills & Attributes: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and food quality Strong communication and teamwork skills How to Apply: Please send your resume and cover letter to: [email protected]
