About the role Seeking a change of pace? Trade city life for the fresh country air with Pace Farm. Were searching for a dynamic individual to join us as our Assistant Farm Manager. Working closely with the Farm Manager, youll oversee and mentor a dedicated team across various farm duties, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and farming practices are maintained. Youll enjoy a 10day fortnight schedule, providing a balanced worklife rhythm. What youll do Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team. Organising daily work schedules. Ensuring high standards of animal welfare for maximum production efficiency. Collaborating with the team to enhance productivity. Adhering to GMP & HACCP protocols. Demonstrating passion, enthusiasm, and a "handson" approach. Flexibility in managing production and roster changes. Ensuring a safe workplace. What skills and attributes you require Previous experience in poultry or animal welfare desirable. Forklift license or willingness to acquire it. Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams. General maintenance skills highly regarded. Effective time management and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills.
