If you thrive in a hands-on role and have expertise in operating woodworking machinery, we''d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate woodworking machines and tools to produce precision wooden products.Ensure that machines are set up to cut wood as per designs, specifications and drawingsAdjust and calibrate machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and shapingSelect and measure wood stock for cutting, planning, turning, shaping, lathe work, or sanding.Monitor machine operations, adjusting as needed to maintain quality and efficiencyUse hand tools and power tools to shape and finish wood products using wood products such as varnishes, stains, lacquers, paint.Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards3 years of work experience minimum in the industryProven ability to operate an Edge Bander, Panel Saw, and various Woodworking MachinesStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workExperience in setting up, calibrating, and maintaining woodworking equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical plans or specifications (preferred)A safety-first mindset and familiarity with workplace health and safety standardsJob Type: Full-timeWork Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Stay Safe While Job HuntingWe vet all employer accounts and do our best to keep job ads safe, but scams can still occur.
