Along with constant innovation and ensuring authenticity for French artisan baking, we pay homage to the values of a true French village bakery.We are looking for trade qualified Bakers, who have a strong background with hand moulding/mixing. You will be part of the team responsible for the preparation and baking of our traditional European & Artisan style breads.Base pay rangeA$70,000.00/yr - A$80,000.00/yrKey ResponsibilitiesMoulding, mixing, maturing our Artisan breadsBread and pastry production, operating commercial mixers and moulding equipmentDough preparation including checking raw materials, kneading and weighing ingredientsUsing ovens and monitoring temperatureFollowing standard recipes and proceduresUpholding health & safety standardsEnsuring cleanliness and organisation of the prep areaOther baking and kitchen duties as reasonably requestedWeekend and public holiday work may be requiredWhat You BringRelevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent), along with 2 years'' experience as a Qualified BakerAlternatively, at least 3 years of experience as a Qualified Baker, if no formal qualificationsExperience tradition European & Artisan style baking highly preferredBe willing to learn and excel in your professionBe comfortable working in a fastpaced food production environmentHave some knowledge of HACCP quality systems and be quality focusedIdeally have experience machine operatingFlexible for shift work and weekend and public holiday work may be requiredWhat''s on OfferOnsite parkingRemuneration: Employment contracts are issued as hourly rate contractsNote:Applicants must be able to work in Australia without any ongoing work restrictions, for a full-time positionPlease note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Are you up for the challenge?
