Senior Mental Health Clinician | Enhanced Care (HOPS)Based at the Clarendon Clinic, East Melbourne. This is a part-time, permanent role (0.5 EFT) in the Allied Health group at St. Vincent''s Health Australia.Job DescriptionJoin the Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service and provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and secondary consultation to clients and staff of the St. Vincent''s integrated adult Mental Health Service and their carers. This role is community-based, serving clients who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness with serious mental illness and related disability. Work within a recovery-oriented model of care using the Strengths Model of Case Management.ResponsibilitiesWork within the Strengths Model of recovery-oriented practice.Provide discipline-specific interventions to consumers who are currently registered with the Clarendon Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service.Assist with and undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs and their family/carers in line with SVMH policies and strategic direction.Your ContributionA minimum of 5 years post-qualification clinical experience within Mental Health.Developed knowledge in working with substance use and addiction.Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (all disciplines except Social Work).Relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health.Current Victorian driver''s license.Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain.What We OfferSalary Packaging Increase your take home pay!Employee Assistance ProgramAbility to join Fitness PassportStaff Health CentreDiscounts and promotions through our FoundationCareer development & advancement encouragedCulture of continuous improvementAbout Mental HealthSt. Vincent''s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.
