You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical and professional skills.The Job Description Form (attached) provides a full statement of duties.Occupational Therapy students in their final semester of study are encouraged to apply.The Applicant Information Pack (attached) provides additional information about the application process, regions and working at WACHS.Further Information About This PositionThis is an open-ended Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time/Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time, and Casual appointments. This includes the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. The following must be noted:The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.Interviews may not be conducted as part of the process, but applicants may be contacted if additional information is required.Referees will be contacted as part of the assessment process.If you are successful to the pool, you will be considered for all suitable vacancies across hospitals and health services in the 7 WACHS regions for the duration of the pool without having to re-apply for each individual position. The essential selection criteria are listed on the final page of the attached Job Description Form.The names and contact details of two (2) recent professional referees. It is preferable for one to be your current supervisor or manager.EligibilitySuccessful Applicants Will Be Required ToProvide evidence of an Australian occupational therapy qualification, or evidence of eligibility for registration by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, or evidence confirming enrolment in the final semester of university.Provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be considered for a permanent position in the WA public sectorUndertake criminal records screening and integrity checks; this may also include referees commenting on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviourCompletion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) and Working With Children''s Check (WA WWC Check).
