In this leadership role, you''ll provide specialist support services to people with disabilities, their families and carers through person-centred, strengths-based approaches. You''ll manage complex caseloads while providing clinical supervision and contributing to the strategic direction of our client''s growing Allied Health services under the NDIS.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse caseload of people with disabilities and their families, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing intervention programsProvide specialist services in seating and positioning, mobility and transport safety, manual handling, environmental modifications, and self-care needsDeliver clinical leadership, supervision and support to allied health staff and studentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventionsContribute to strategic planning and organizational growth within the Allied Health teamRepresent the team in internal and external forums and build disability networksSkills and QualificationsRecognised Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA RegistrationCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent NSW Driver''s LicenceCurrent NSW Working with Children CheckNDIS Worker Screening CheckExperienceMinimum 3 years experience working with people with disabilities with complex needsExperience with specialised intervention strategies including equipment prescription and environmental modificationsProven experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teamsStrong understanding of NDIS implementation, reviews and requirementsKnowledge of relevant legislation including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership to other therapistsBenefitsCompetitive salary range $95,000 - $110,000 based on experience$6,000 annual vehicle allowance$3,000 annual CPD allowance2 weeks CPD LeaveSalary packaging optionsFlexible onsite/work from home arrangementsAdministrative supportProfessional development opportunities and career growthMore About Our ClientOur client is a well-established not-for-profit organization operating in Greater Western Sydney since 1987, with a mission of creating new possibilities in people''s lives.
