About the job Site Foreman - High-end ResidentialThe RoleOur Client is a highly reputable construction company who specialise in building high-end residential houses, working with some of Australia''s most reputable Architects.They are looking for an experienced handson Foreman to join their team to support on projects in north shore and eastern suburblocations.Key AttributesSuccessfully deliver projects from preconstruction through to defect liability, handover and even ongoing maintenanceThis is a handson role where you will be both on the tools and overseeing a team of carpenters/ labourers onsite. A desire to want to still be on the tools is essential.You will have a passion for high quality building and craftsmanship and will partner daily with the Site Manager and Architects to resolve building design issues during construction.Core Skill Requirementsto have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Foreman / Leading Hand;Strong track record in architect designed residential construction;An understanding of construction detail resolution;Experience in doors, locks, windows, metalworks and finishing trades;Good knowledge of basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical services;Excellent attention to detail, quality and finish;Understanding of construction sequences;Ability to think through issues and resolve problems;Ability to communicate instructions to other team members or subtrades;Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment;to be well presented, with strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn and teachHigh degree of English proficiency;Works well both in a team and independently, always seeing tasks through to completion;to be available while site is open Monday to Saturday;How to ApplyApply by responding to this ad.
