About the opportunityHeadspace Camperdown, part of the Brain and Mind Centre, supports young people aged 1225 with diverse health and wellbeing needs. This parttime (0.6 FTE) fixedterm position, ending November 2026, plays a vital role in early intervention, coordinating care and ensuring continuity across mental health, vocational, and drug/alcohol services.Key responsibilitieswork closely with young people, carers, clinicians, and external service providersconduct biopsychosocial assessments and screenings using headspace tools and procedurescoordinate care plans and assist clients to access appropriate servicesmonitor client progress and follow up missed appointments to ensure continuity of careliaise with community agencies and participate in awareness activities promoting youth wellbeingmaintain accurate case notes and contribute to quality improvement projectsQualificationstertiary qualifications in psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, social work, or a related fieldregistration with AHPRA as a psychologist, nurse, or occupational therapist (highly regarded)demonstrated experience providing clinical mental health services to young people aged 1225ability to undertake assessments and determine care needs across mental health, substance use, and vocational issuesknowledge of local youth health, mental health, and drug/alcohol service networksexperience working in multidisciplinary teams and engaging young people and carers effectivelyPreemployment checksYour employment is conditional upon the completion of all rolerequired preemployment or background checks.
