This is a handson role suited to an earlycareer accountant who enjoys working across the full recordtoreport cycle and contributing to continuous improvement within a mediumtolarge, complex organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting endtoend monthend close activities, from transaction processing through to variance analysis and reportingAssisting with financial reporting in line with Australian Accounting StandardsSupporting taxation and corporate reporting requirementsMaintaining accurate general ledger reconciliationsWorking with stakeholders across finance and the broader business to resolve issues and meet deadlinesContributing to process improvement initiatives and system enhancementsAbout YouYou are currently progressing toward professional qualification and bring a strong technical foundation, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.Essential Experience And CapabilitiesWorking toward CA or CPA qualification (Australian certification)At least 2 years'' experience in accounting roles within a commercial environmentStrong working knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation and corporate reportingDemonstrated experience supporting endtoend monthend processes (R2R)Experience working with medium to large ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across the MS Office suiteClear written and verbal communication skills, with strong organisation and attention to detailExperience in a midtolarge organisationBig 4 Chartered Firm experience at Analyst level (for firstmover candidates)Exposure to the retirement living, property or property development sectorsWhat You''ll BringA cando attitude and determination to see issues through to resolutionStrong ownership, initiative and accountabilityThe ability to prioritise competing deadlines effectivelyA detailoriented and factbased approach to problem solvingIntegrity and the confidence to question when something doesn''t look rightA collaborative, respectful and teamfocused working styleConfidence to contribute ideas and engage constructively with stakeholdersNext steps: If your application progresses, you''ll be invited to complete a criteria assessment as part of our recruitment process.
