With over 100 years of excellence, we train the next generation of medical scientists and lead internationally competitive research across a range of therapeutic areas.The Executive Assistant and Project Officer provides a full suite of highlevel executive support services to the Head of School, ensuring daytoday operations are managed efficiently and effectively. The role requires strong administrative capability, exceptional organisation, professionalism, tact and diplomacy.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide broad, highlevel executive support to the Head of School and manage daily office operations.Manage the Head of School''s diary.Provide professional executive support and coordinate and execute tasks efficiently.Draft and review correspondence, collate meeting papers and arrange logistics.Develop and maintain relationships with senior administrators, heads of school and academic staff, escalating issues when required.Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and quality of communication.Provide project officer support for school projects, including gathering and preparing project data, analysis and reporting.Undertake adhoc projects and activities relevant to the role as required.Qualifications and SkillsExcellent time and workload management skills; ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.Excellent administrative, problemsolving and analytical skills, with understanding of project life cycles, documentation and monitoring.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement.Strong negotiation, relationshipbuilding and influencing skills.Advanced computer skills, including strong Microsoft Office capability and extensive diary management experience.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Work RightsWork rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
