The role provides practical support, coaching, and guidance to implement the ''One Opal'' Health and Safety Management System, ensure compliance with Opal Safety Standards, and manage injury rehabilitation for workers'' compensation, wage insurance, and income protection claims.The key focus of this role will be to:Support and coach site''s in applying early intervention claims management strategies and provide ad hoc advice and direction (troubleshooting)Undertake RTW coordination (RTWC)activities and act as both RTWC and Injury Manager for Opal as and where requiredProvide clinical expertise, monitor and drive the integrity of medical information as it relates to claimsEnsuring compliance to regulatory framework (Safe Work NSW)Preparation and lead in ISO 45001 and other third party auditsWe can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.
