Transport Allocator | InfraBuildJob Overview: The Transport Allocator schedules pickup and delivery for the InfraBuild Recycling internal and contract fleet, ensuring customer promises are met while maintaining safety and efficiencies.ResponsibilitiesApply and reinforce all InfraBuild Recycling policies and procedures related to health and safety values in transport.Report hazards and incidents immediately.Manage and coordinate fleet transport operations within the transport network, in line with documented safe operating procedures.Check drivers'' qualifications and verify competencies against InfraBuild requirements.Maintain efficient use of freight options and contract arrangements while providing high level of customer service to internal and external customers.Support deliverinfull and ontime programs and work practices (DIFOT).Liaise with NSW Transport Manager on actions to improve freight related customerservice outcomes.QualificationsExperience allocating a varied fleet of vehicles.Certificate III/IV in transport/logistics (desirable).Previous industry experience scrap metal recycling, mining, heavy industrial (desirable).Knowledge of the delivery area and routes.Knowledge of load configuration and restraint requirements.Knowledge of vehicle types and capacity restrictions.Working knowledge of NSW transport legislation and regulations.Working knowledge of chain of responsibility obligations.Effective verbal and written communication skills with intermediate level computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing).BenefitsGenerous parental leave: 20 weeks paid Primary Carer Leave and 3 weeks paid Partner Leave for those who have worked at the business for at least 12 months.
