About the job ETL-DW Test Manager (BFSI Domain)Job Description of ETL-DW Test Manager (BFSI Domain) in Australia:Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery of multiple testing projects to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.Responsible for working closely with external testing service providers to deliver test functionsResponsible for assurance activities across all test deliverables such as review of test estimates, strategies, schedules, plans and completion reports.Management and influence of key testing stakeholders and project sponsors.Promote and instil test process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment.Manage testing vendors to quality commitments.Definition of Test Strategy for BI projectsPerforming a combined lead and test execution role on large pieces of project work as assigned by the Solution Design and Test Governance Manager.Key TasksProject planning, resourcing and scheduling of their assigned engagements and provide support to Business Operations for delivery planning of other engagementsProvide leadership to internal and external teams, assist teams as required with the delivery of servicesBe the go to person for staff and customer delivery issuesEnsure services and product delivery to clients meets clients expectations and adhere to Customer delivery requirementsProvide guidance on delivery methodsPerform quality assurance for engagement deliverables (with assistance from Principals and Capability Leads)Ensure risk management is in place and applied to the delivery of engagement.10+ years experience in governing and managing the IT testing function preferably within a financial service organisation.Experience leading large teams and programs for delivery of technical outcomesProven reporting and documentation skills including the creation of strategic and tactical plans, producing reports for various audiences and the drafting of functional and non-functional tests cases.Agile delivery lead experienceExpertise with CI/CD, and continuous testingExperience providing support for teams in excess of 20 staffExperience in managing outcomes and/or capabilities within large enterprise environmentsStrong risk management ability to assess projects, clients and environments for risks that may impact the businessDesirable: Compliance/Regulatory experienceDesirable: Banking/Finance backgroundDesirable: Experience with JIRA and ConfluenceSkills RequiredPrevious successful test management of several projects including at least 5 years'' experience as a Test Manager is essentialDeep knowledge of the software Systems Development Lifecycle is essentialDeep knowledge of test processes, practices and methods is essentialA proven track record of managing and delivering successful test outcomes in a complex environment is essentialPrior knowledge of software products from Netezza / AWS / SAS / Cognos / Tableau is highly desirablePrior experience working in the Business Intelligence domain is highly desirablePrior experience working in the Banking and Insurance domain is desirablePrior experience working with JIRA and Confluence is desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
