It is also a vast wilderness area, defined by rocky escarpments, gorges, rivers and waterfalls. MAF has served the people in Arnhem Land for over 45 years by sharing God''s love through aviation and technology. To continue enabling our service in Arnhem Land we require an experienced Facilities Manager.Do you love making things work smoothly, fixing what''s broken, and keeping everything in top shape? Acceptance of and adherence to MAF''s purpose, vision and values is an essential condition of employment.ResponsibilitiesThe RoleAs our Facilities Manager, you''ll be the goto person for all things property and vehicles in East Arnhem Land. From hangars to houses, cars to coffee machines, you''ll make sure everything is safe, compliant, and running like clockwork.Your world will include:Coordinating maintenance across 20 houses and 2 hangars.Looking after all MAF office spaces and work areas.Managing vehicles (except aircraft!) to keep them road-ready and reliable.Overseeing contractors, volunteers, and the occasional enthusiastic DIYer.Making sure everything meets safety standards and local regulations.What you''ll bringA practical head for maintenance and a heart for people.Organisational superpowersjuggling budgets, projects, and priorities.The ability to lead others, whether staff, volunteers, or contractors.A commitment to doing things wellbecause excellence matters.QualificationsBeyond the tools and timetables This role is also about being part of our MAF family.
