SMP Work Pack EngineerUGL is seeking an experienced SMP Work Pack Engineer to join our team working on a major Oil & Gas project. Commencing ASAP, you will work a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA. 5month casual position with possibility for extension.Key ResponsibilitiesWork Pack Development: Analyse schedules, 3D models, MTO data, specifications, procedures, and technical drawings to create thorough Work Packs and Job Cards that meet UGL & Client standards.Tracking & Reporting: Monitor work pack progress, maintain accurate status updates, manage change and collaborate with document control.Effective Communication & Coordination: Liaise with project stakeholders to clearly communicate work pack scope and lead constructability reviews.Delivering Technical Support: Address engineering technical queries during key project phases.Engineering Systems Development: Support the creation and management of onsite engineering control systems, ensuring user procedures, processes and forms are efficient.ProblemSolving & Performance Escalation: Swiftly address system performance or delivery issues to keep the project on track.Collaborative Networking: Build and sustain valuable relationships with internal teams and clients.Adaptability in Project Controls: Support evolving project activities and outputs during execution.Safety & Compliance Focus: Champion safety, adhere to regulations and promote compliance with all relevant State and Federal standards.About YouBachelor''s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Trade BackgroundE&I Construction ExperienceCommissioning and systems completion experienceE&I systems highly regarded5+ Years Experience in Oil & Gas or related industriesStrong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practicesProficiency in project management software and toolsHigh level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysisAbility to work effectively in a fastpaced, highpressure environmentFamiliarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practicesWhat We OfferPermanent position on an ongoing 5/2 rosterCompetitive remuneration packagePathways for you to succeed and the space for you to carve your own journeyA culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologiesWhat Makes You Right for UGLGenuine concern for safetyAbility to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplaceCapacity to flourish in a highperformance environmentAn innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the normA belief that success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to playAbout UsUGL is wellknown and respected for providing endtoend engineering, construction and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
