Senior Recruitment Consultant at Relier GroupJunior Accessories Designer | Australian Artisanal Design HouseOur client is seeking a Junior Accessories Designer to support the Accessories team in developing and delivering seasonal collections across various accessory categories, including bags, belts, jewellery, hats, scarves, keychains, and eyewear. This role works closely with the Senior Accessories Designer and Development team to bring designs from concept to final samples, ensuring alignment with the brand''s creative vision and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Senior Designer in seasonal accessory design, creating sketches, CADs, technical drawings, and mood boards.Support tech pack creation and maintain accurate documentation throughout development, ensuring design details are precise and updated.Coordinate sampling progress, prepare materials references and CADs for prototypes, and assist in internal sample reviews.Research and source materials, trims, hardware, and embellishments, maintaining an organised archive of samples and references.Collaborate closely with design and development teams to ensure feasibility, cost targets, and timelines are met.Participate in team meetings, reporting progress and adapting to evolving briefs or business needs.Assist with general organisation of the design room, samples, trims, and meetings as needed.Occasionally support other business areas to contribute to overall team success.Our Favourite Things About Working for this Client:WONDER WARDROBE: Build an adventurous and colourful wardrobe with generous staff discounts and allowances on statement pieces and classics alike.WELLNESS HEROES: Enjoy a holistic approach to staff wellbeing, with inhouse and oncall life coaching appointments.CELEBRATE SUCCESS: Socialise and celebrate regularly with your team, including seasonal celebrations at the end of each collection.FROM THE HEART: Work for a brand striving for change within a rapidly changing industry, and seek fulfilment from working in a way that aligns with your values.QualificationsBrings 2+ years'' experience in accessories design and development, covering concept to sampling.Formal qualification in Fashion or Accessory Design.Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.Strong sketching, CAD, and technical drawing abilities.Organised, detailfocused, and eager to learn.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Passionate about accessories and aligned with the brand''s aesthetic.Think this could be your next move?
