(P/T or Full-time, contract for 12 months)ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a high-energy, algorithm-obsessed Channel Manager to lead the digital rollout of a new narrative series being filmed in Sydney. You will be the "Master of the Feed," responsible for ensuring that the series reaches a global audience. You are not just a social media manager; you are a growth architect who understands how to hook a viewer and keep them "binging" for multiple episodes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAlgorithmic Strategy & Growth: Retention Engineering, SEO & Metadata, Distribution Scaling.Series Architecture: Manage the publishing schedule across TikTok and IG. Ensure "Episode Tags" and "Playlist" features are utilized so the algorithm serves the episodes in order.Cross-Platform Adaptation: Coordinate the "Record Once, Tweak Twice" workflow.Character Advocacy: Manage the "social footprint" of the on screen talent, with direction from a full-time Talent Manager.Sentiment Analysis: Monitor comments to identify which talent the audience loves/hates and use those insights to guide future script arcs.Live Operations: Produce and moderate "After-Show" Lives where the cast discusses episode drama and engages with fan "Gifts" and questions.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEPlatform Mastery: Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the 2026 TikTok and Instagram algorithms (ideally, but not essential, knowledge of TikTok Shop and IG Creator Marketplace).Short-Form Storytelling: Working with a team of highly experienced TV producers.Data Fluency: Ability to translate complex analytics (Watch Time, Shares-per-Reach, Dwell Time) into actionable recommendations.Please send your CV to [email protected] showcasing your experience.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
