Developing electric vehicles that are intelligent and connected, BYD is inaugurating a new age of automotive innovation featuring a sleek design and an innovative user experience.About the RoleBased in BYD''s Melbourne office in Mulgrave, the Business Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the management of dealer financials, claims, and business policy development. This position ensures operational excellence, compliance, and strategic alignment across dealership reporting, financial controls, and performance reviews. The Analyst will also contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, reporting standards, and commercial contract management.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the management of dealer financial submissions, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and quality.Monitor compliance with reporting standards and escalate discrepancies as needed.Support the review and budgetary control of dealer claims to ensure alignment with retail campaigns and other initiatives.Prevent duplication of payments across VINs through rigorous validation and reconciliation processes.Business Policy DevelopmentContribute to the setting and refinement of Business Policy frameworks.Assist with the management of quarterly dealer entitlements and ensure accurate execution.Financial Analysis & ReviewsConduct regular dealer financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Prepare reports and insights to support decisionmaking and performance improvement.Performance Review MeetingsAssist in organizing and facilitating dealer performance review meetings.Provide structured reporting packs and actionable insights to stakeholders.Collaboration with Financial ControllersSupport the scheduling and development of regular meetings with Financial Controllers.Drive continuous improvement in reporting standards and data quality.Reporting Standards & Process DevelopmentAssist in the development, implementation, and management of dealer reporting standards.Support the design and maintenance of internal business processes, ensuring they remain current and scalable.Commercial Contracts & Legal AgreementsProvide support in managing commercial contracts, legal agreements, and associated documentation.Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and clarity in contractual obligations.Additional Analyst ActivitiesPrepare dashboards, trackers, and operational matrices to streamline reviews and enhance transparency.Support adhoc projects, including incentive tracking, rent benchmarking, and compliance frameworks.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations, finance, and stakeholder engagement.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor''s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and data visualization tools; experience with automation or macros is an advantage.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.Knowledge of dealership operations, financial reporting, or automotive industry practices preferred.If you believe you are a good fit for the role, please don''t hesitate to click on APPLY and submit your updated resume.BYD Australia is under rapid expansion with plenty more opportunities to arise.
