You''ll ensure efficient staff deployment by analysing and designing rostering strategies that align with organisational goals and comply with business rules, safety protocols, and relevant legislation.There will also be a strong focus on forecasting to develop capacity plans for the region, producing optimised rosters up to 12 months in advance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic rostering plans that align with organisational goalsAnalyse historical data and forecast future staffing needs based on demand patterns, trends, and business requirements to ensure accurate and timely staffingContinuously review and optimise rostering processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance staff satisfaction within designated regionReview and manage leave requests as well as track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to rostering and staffing, making data-driven decisions to improve performanceEngage with key stakeholders and provide regular updatesAbout youDemonstrated experience using the Humanforce rostering system, including creating and adjusting staff schedules, managing shift changes, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting operational teams with roster-related queries.A degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Science, or Operations Management is desirable, and any relevant certifications would be advantageousExperience in understanding rostering and resource planning processes, theories, and methodologiesAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience in applying industrial, regulatory rules or enterprise agreements within a businessA high level of prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to ''think outside the box'' and to work within multiple/conflicting time constraintsAbility to analyse complex data sets and identify trends and patternsPractical experience with rostering or workforce management software and strong verbal and written communication skillsBenefits availableDiscounted gym memberships at Goodlife and Fitness FirstRetail savings with the Blue Light CardDiscounted car hireEmployee Assistance Program for you and your familyFree Wellbeing App to support your mental and physical healthNovated leasing for vehiclesWorkplace banking supportACN membership discounts for nursesDiscounted health insurance with nib healthDiscounted JB HiFiEstia Health is committed to embracing diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplaces.
