The ideal candidate will have strong experience in bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation support, and financial reporting, with solid knowledge of QuickBooks Online.The role is permanent parttime 2 days per week with a view to increasing to 3.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, maintain, and reconcile monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.Ensure accuracy of financial data and provide regular reports to management.Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.Set up and manage customer and supplier accounts in QuickBooks and Stripe, process invoices, billing, and payments in a timely manner.Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.Process payroll accurately and on schedule; maintain employee records, leave balances, and payroll compliance.Manage, track, and maintain employment and contractor contracts; ensure that employee records are up to date.Maintain and oversee financial aspects of business contracts, including renewals, obligations, and payment schedules; ensure financial compliance related to contract terms.Prepare and file monthly and quarterly ATO tax obligations; work with external accountants to support annual tax returns; maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant tax requirements and regulations.Use QuickBooks to manage all financial transactions and reporting; continuously improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy; maintain organised and compliant financial records.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.Strong understanding of accounting principles, including P&L and Balance Sheet management.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.Knowledge of payroll, tax obligations, and accounts receivable/payable functions.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.Preferred QualificationsCertificate or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or similar.Experience working with small businesses.Next StepsClick the link to apply or get in touch with us if you have further questions.
