Position available: Business Manager for Plant Synthetic Biology Australia(HEO9) $128,217 $137,173 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation appliesThe University is a foundational node of Plant Synthetic Biology Australia (PSBA), established under the Commonwealth National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), subcontracted through BioPlatforms Australia (BPA).With a considerable degree of autonomy, the Business Manager for PSBA-AU will work closely with the Node''s Leadership team. Previous experience in a biotechnology, plant research environment, or related industry is highly desirable.To be successful, you will need:Substantial experience in business operations, financial, and human resource management in a service environment.Effective leadership skills to improve performance, foster a harmonious working environment, and maintain an outcome-based focus.Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent workload management skills and experience preparing high-quality, timely reports.Strong oral and written communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
