We are looking for an Associate through to Principal level Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our Sydney office. We work hybrid which means you can work remotely a couple of days per week to ensure a healthy work-life balance.This role offers the opportunity to lead a technical team and strengthen relationships with key clients across Australia. You will be instrumental in strategizing and delivering projects in the civil infrastructure, waste, water infrastructure and mining sectors.What you''ll do in more details:Lead and deliver projects focused onWaste management including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications resource recovery solutionsWater infrastructure including dam engineering, earth structures and repair works, and waste water management pondsMining including tailings management facilities and complex liner systemsGround engineering including slope stabilisation and rehabilitationDevelop cutting-edge solutions for geo-environmental challenges, integrating waste management into broader infrastructure projectsPrepare and review technical documentation for waste-related projects across planning, design, and execution phasesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients in the waste and geo-environmental sectors, supporting both project delivery and business development initiativesEnsure technical excellence in waste and geo-environmental engineering, overseeing quality and risk managementUndertaking project management to deliver desired outcomes for key clients with a focus on repeat businessMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment and sharing expertise in waste management and geo-environmental engineeringSupport operational management by contributing to strategies that drive business growth in waste and environmental servicesAbout YouYou will likely have tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering combined with more than 7 years of industry experience.You will also bring:Significant experience in waste and geo-environmental engineeringStrong expertise in waste management, including landfill design, leachate systems, geosynthetics, and resource recoveryExpertise addressing subsurface environmental risks, embankments, earthworks, and surface water managementExcellent communication skills with experience in effectively engaging technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading and integrating into multidisciplinary projectsA highly motivated, innovative mindset with a commitment to sustainability and technical excellenceDemonstrated leadership, decision making and mentoring skills to support development of junior, intermediate and senior engineersImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
