About the job Data Entry Specialist - TemporaryJob DescriptionThe Department of Revenue is seeking seasonal workers to work in the Tax Management Division, Registration unit.Following all policies and procedures, the successful candidate will:The Department of Revenue is seeking temporary workers to work in the Tax Management Division, Data Capture and Registration Units.Process applications including changes and cancels for customer accounts.Process business tax permit applications, requests for changes, cancellations and power of attorney forms.Manage and track account information in multiple spreadsheets.Repetitively input large sums of taxpayer data, both alphabetic and numeric, and payments in multiple systems as defined by department procedures in a timely and accurate manner.Handle confidential information, review data for deficiencies or errors, make corrections and check output.This is a Monday through Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm shift.The rate of pay is $15.00 an hour and is considered a temporary assignment.Additional Requirements: Must pass a criminal background check, FBI fingerprinting, and be in compliance with Iowa tax filing requirements and willing to participate in the E-verify process.No specific education or experience requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
