Working as part of a culturally responsive multidisciplinary team, you will support community members through comprehensive nursing care, triage, chronic disease management, recall systems, and careplanning activities.The role requires the ability to mentor Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) and Aboriginal Enrolled Nurses (ENs) as part of BRAMS'' teambased care model. You will work across a range of clinical and recall activities, ensuring all care is safe, personcentred, and aligned with best practice.Key Responsibilities Include:Delivering comprehensive primary health care nursing services, including triage, assessments, and clinical interventions.Supporting and mentoring AHPs and Aboriginal ENs to build capability and ensure culturally safe care delivery.Participating in chronic disease management, health promotion, immunisations, wound care, and emergency response where required.Managing recall systems, care coordination, and followup to ensure continuity of care.Contributing to care planning, documentation, and multidisciplinary team meetings.Ensuring compliance with AHPRA standards, clinical governance requirements, infection control, and quality improvement practices.Working collaboratively with doctors, AHPs, clinicians, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care.Is This You?The successful candidate will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and bring 3 years of nursing experience in Primary Health Care or a related clinical setting.Experience working across triage, clinical assessment, recall systems, and chronic disease care.Confidence mentoring AHPs, Aboriginal ENs, or junior nursing staff.Strong clinical decisionmaking and organisational skills.A commitment to culturally safe practice and working respectfully within Aboriginal communities.The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Experience within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or community health setting, along with an understanding of Aboriginal culture, values, and the social determinants of health, will be highly regarded.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.What''s in It for YouBRAMS offers a competitive salary of $105,000 $120,000 + Super, along with a supportive and inclusive work environment and a host of generous benefits, including:Relocation allowance (up to $5,000)Salary packaging to maximise takehome pay6 weeks of Annual Leave to support worklife balanceStudy leave and access to ongoing professional developmentAccess to clinical and management supervision contractsFree access to primary health, dental, and allied health services through BRAMSA meaningful role in one of Australia''s most culturally rich and visually stunning regionsThis is an incredibly rare opportunity to join a wellestablished and supported Aboriginal Medical Service in a pivotal allied health role.
