We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and a 35 hour working week with flexible working options.About the roleThe Disability Teacher Consultant is responsible for establishing and coordinating specialist teaching and non-teaching support services for students with disability together with performing teaching duties to achieve optimal student outcomes.The role actively promotes access of students with disability to TAFE NSW courses maximizing enrolments, participation, and completions in vocational education and training leading to successful achievement of student goals and employment for people with disability.This recruitment will also be used to create a state-wide talent pool for future Disability Teacher Consultant opportunities that may arise within the next 18 months.About YouAs one of our Disability Teacher Consultants, you will be responsible for establishing reasonable adjustment education plans and coordinating specialist teaching and non-teaching support services for students with disability. You must possess strong negotiation and collaboration skills and have excellent communication skills to collaborate with other team members.
