Cloud Security & Risk Specialistlarge multinational companyURGENT 9-Month Contract (with view to extend) Competitive Daily rate Sydney (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Immediate startWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Security & Risk Specialist to join our large multinational company client. This person can move applications to the cloud and then ensure they are secure, compliant, and follow rules, regulations and standards. The role supports the Information Security Management System (ISMS), drives risk identification and assessment, and provides expert security guidance to stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and support information security activities while ensuring alignment with business, technical, and governance stakeholders.Migrate existing applications from on-premises servers (or older environments) to a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Ensure migrated applications meet organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards (GRC).Provide security consulting and act as the key liaison across technical teams, business units, vendors, and thirdparty partners.Implement and monitor security controls across systems and services, including those delivered by cloud providers and outsourced partners.Support security risk management, including risk assessments, policy deviations, mitigation planning, and thirdparty security reviews.Contribute to compliance and regulatory obligations, promote security awareness, and embed controls in projects and transformation initiatives.Required SkillsProven experience as Cloud Security & Risk Specialist or related role.Experience migrating applications from on-premises servers to a cloud platform and launching them into production.Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).Sound understanding of security concepts for cloud-enabled and cloud-native services.Experience with security tools to protect network, data, identity, and critical assets using defenceindepth methodologies.Knowledge of IT security technology, architecture, and processes with familiarity of ISO270xx, COBIT, etc.Experience in financial or banking industry or large enterprise environment highly regarded.For more information or for a confidential discussion, please contact Gian directly via [email protected] quoting reference 269242.To apply please click the ''Apply Now'' button.Peoplebank and Leaders IT are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone belongs.
