About the job Senior Accountant / Accountant - AUSJob ProfileManage day-to-day accounting including AP/AR, bank and payment gateway reconciliations, payroll, and inventory accountingMaintain accurate and compliant financial records in Xero across multiple entitiesPrepare BAS/GST, IAS, balance sheet and P&L reconciliationsProduce structured management reports and cash-flow trackingSupport annual accounts, tax return preparation, audits, and ATO reviewsWork confidently with Xero, Cin7/Dear, CloudPayroll, PayPal, Stripe, and ExcelDegree qualified in Accounting with 35 years experience (preferably in a Chartered Accounting firm)Strong knowledge of Australian tax, compliance, and experience with Australian businessesHighly methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within structured processesREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSDegree qualified in Accounting or equivalent35 years experience, ideally within a Chartered Accounting firmStrong experience with Australian tax, BAS, and complianceProven ability to reconcile complex accounts accuratelyExperience working with Australian businessesStrong written English and clear, factual communicationPERSONALITY & WORK STYLE FIT (NON-NEGOTIABLE)You are likely a strong fit if you:Are methodical, calm, and structuredHave a high tolerance for routine and repetitionNotice small discrepancies immediatelyPrefer clear instructions and written processesTake pride in balanced accounts and clean ledgersAre comfortable working independently within defined systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
