We will keep your details on our database and contact you when a suitable position becomes available.Executive VFX Producer ResponsibilitiesMentoring and guiding producers of all levels, particularly our Junior and Associate ProducersWorking with the global New Business team on projects in early stages to support as needed to help get shows awardedOversee newly awarded projects that don''t yet have an available assigned producerWorking with the Head of Production to assign new shows to the appropriate producerWhen required, hand a new project off to assigned producer with detailed brief and overview ofOversee creative and financial progress of shows where there is a junior or Associate producer in place and report findings to HOPRun weekly meeting with our experienced producers to ensure production is running smoothly and offering advice when neededAttend weekly meetings with HOP to go over status of current projects and any potential incoming new projects to the siteMaintaining studio/client relationships and alongside the HOP, acting as a point of escalation for any issues on showsWorking closely with Production Accounts to keep track of the financial health of projects and to provide detailed reporting alongside our Junior and Associate ProducersJump on to a project as Producer when needed to cover for Producer sick/holiday or other coverageInvolved in strategic planning for current and upcoming film projects; organise GetGo meetings and participate in Methodology meetings, etcKnowledgeable of relevant tax credit schemes for our clients, blended rebates and necessary qualificationsWork closely with the HOP and Central Production Manager to ensure all shows you are overseeing are following best practices and global processes for ProductionAssist CPM with production training as neededLooking at the bigger pictures of shows and managing production in line with the global company strategyMust HaveExtensive high-end feature film VFX Producer experienceProven project management experience, including scheduling and budgetingExperience in bidding and winning workAbility to oversee multiple VFX showsProven leadership experience and experience managing production teams under high level of pressure and during fast-paced show delivery timesExpertise in building effective working relationships and effective communication with internal crew, cross site crew and clientsProven relationships with VFX clients and studiosHigh-level knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly ExcelMinimum education of Diploma level or equivalentAbility to establish priorities amongst multiple showsNice to HaveKnowledge of ShotgunKnowledge of MS ProjectAbout YouPassionate about filmImpeccable attention to detail and accuracyCapable of motivating and leading a large team, with enthusiasm and clarityCalm under pressure and capable of delivering to short deadlinesAnalytical, logical and methodical in your approachOrganised, pro-active and a self-starterA positive, can-do attitudePermanent Staff PositionWorkplace Flexibility & LocationWe believe great work happens through connection and collaboration that''s why we love spending time together in our beautiful Sydney office.
