This role requires a unique blend of executive communication, advanced program management mastery, and deep technical fluency to effectively manage risk and align security investments with organizational strategic objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.The primary responsibilities are divided into Strategic Management and Technical Program Deliver. Strategic Management involves defining and maintaining the multi-year security program roadmap, ensuring continuous alignment with business goals and regulatory mandates (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).The manager is the key owner of Risk Governance, translating technical risks into clear, concise business impact statements for executive leadership (C-suite and Board), and overseeing the program-level risk register.Furthermore, they are tasked with developing and managing the annual Operational (OpEx) and Capital (CapEx) budgets for the entire security program, including building robust business cases and leading the selection and contract negotiation for major security vendors and MSSPs. Technical Program Delivery focuses on utilizing expert project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP/PgMP standards) to manage the scope, budget, timelines, and resources for concurrent security projects.Key initiatives under management include the implementation of foundational programs like Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.The Program Manager also directs programs focused on Shift-Left security by driving the integration of security tools (SAST/DAST) into the DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines, and overseeing projects designed to enhance the effectiveness of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including SIEM/SOAR implementations, threat intelligence, and continuous improvement of the vulnerability management lifecycle.Skills, Qualifications, and Experience RangeThe ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of progressive experience in IT or Security, with at least 10+ years in a dedicated Cybersecurity Program Management or Portfolio Management role, alongsideBachelor''s degree in a related field.Mandatory Skills include proven expertise in managing multi-track programs, deep practical knowledge of major security and risk frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001), and exceptional Executive Communication ability to present clear, action-oriented recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.Mandatory Certifications include the PMP or PgMP. Highly Preferred Certifications include the CISSP or CISM.Beyond mandatory skills, the candidate must possess Technical Fluency in modern security domains, including a conceptual understanding of Cloud Security Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), IAM Governance (MFA, SSO, PAM), DevSecOps and AppSec principles, and advanced security concepts such as Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and the operational integration of Threat Intelligence (TI).Tech Mahindra is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
