EUC / Network Smart Hands Engineer (On Call / Casual)2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsEmployment Type: Independent Contractor / On Call / CasualWork Mode: Onsite (Field Support / OnDemand)About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced EUC (End User Computing) / Network Smart Hands Engineer to provide onsite technical support on an oncall or casual basis across multiple client locations in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled IT professionals who enjoy flexible, fieldbased work and have strong handson experience in desktop, laptop, printer, and network hardware troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite EUC and Network Smart Hands support for incidents, service requests, and installations.Perform breakfix, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and preventive maintenance tasks.Support network device installations routers, switches, access points, and cabling.Handle hardware replacements, upgrades, and troubleshooting for enduser devices.Collaborate with remote support and service desk teams for timely resolution.Maintain accurate logs for dispatch calls, assets, and completion reports.Coordinate with vendors and thirdparty support teams when required.Ensure all activities comply with client SLAs and ITIL processes.Required Skills & Experience36 years of experience in Desktop Support / EUC / Smart Hands / Field Engineering.Strong knowledge of Windows OS, O365, Active Directory, and common desktop applications.Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, cabling, patching).Handson experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).Excellent communication and coordination skills.Must have a valid driver''s license and willingness to travel between client sites.Preferred QualificationsITIL Foundation certification.CompTIA A+ / N+ or vendor certifications (HP, Dell, Cisco).Prior experience in casual/ondemand support engagements.Work ScopeOndemand / Casual calls during business hours.May include afterhours or weekend support as per SLA.Reporting to: Regional Service Delivery Manager / Project Coordinator.Interested?
