We provide an awardwinning insurance distribution platform that embeds protection for millions of customers worldwide each year.About The RoleLead the full recordtoreport global process, including invoice creation and collections from partners/customers.Lead the initiative to reduce days sales outstanding and ensure accounts receivable agings are complete and accurate.Lead and review reconciliations across Cover Genius'' multiple receipt methods globally.Lead global invoicing troubleshooting when partner issues arise by partnering with contract management, customer support, and tax teams, ensuring credits are appropriately reflected on partner/customer invoices as needed.Primary support for external audits/reviews within regions and work with Global Controller to prepare for audits.Partner with Global Tax Director to ensure passthrough taxes, such as VAT, GST, and US Sales Tax, are reflected correctly on partner invoices.Partner with the Global Treasury and FP&A Teams in providing support for cash inflows from partners/customers.Ensure accuracy & adequacy of business revenue reporting processes by drafting, revising, and evaluating relevant internal policies and procedures.Serve as subject matter expert in all matters related to accounting for invoice to cash from partners/customers.Support in planning and project work, key projects.Recommend and drive improvement to processes, systems, and control frameworks.What You Will BringBig4 or midtier trained, with further commercial experience.Familiarity with revenue accounting across multiple jurisdictions, preferably working with highly complex revenue models.At least 10 years'' experience in finance, with a focus on accounts receivable oversight.NetSuite experience with invoicing and cash collections.A proven people leader who can also operate independently and deliver projects endtoend.Strong stakeholder business partnering capability.Must be proactive and work well independently, partnering with reporting, FP&A, Tax and Treasury teams.Team building and leadership experience.Must show initiative and operate on their own.Insurance/Financial Services experience a bonus but not a requirement.Open to travel.What You Will HaveThrives on collaboration and operates with a strong internal stakeholder mentality.Uncanny organizational skills and the ability and drive to solve complex problems every day.Expert multitasker, selfprioritizer, and project manager.Strong ability to quickly identify both risks and opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on process improvements and results.Integrity, maturity, strength of character, and professionalism.Ability to efficiently and accurately process hightransaction volume tasks.Able to cope with a dynamic and highchange environment.Takes ownership for responsibilities with a positive attitude.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Why Cover Genius?Flexible work environment hybrid teams, office and remote flexibility.Employee stock options reward ownership for contributions.Work with likeminded people passionate about work and giving back CG Gives programs.Social initiatives philanthropy and community programs.Cover Genius promotes diversity and inclusivity.
