This role is responsible for the handson execution of technical, content, and offpage SEO strategies, as well as the essential procedural workflows required for seamless client onboarding and campaign delivery.Strategy Development:Conduct deepKeyword Researchand executeOn-page Optimisation(metadata, URL structure, headings) for client content.Content Performance:PerformContent Gap Analysisto identify opportunities and ensure all content aligns withE-E-A-T(Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles.Link Building & Auditing:Perform proactiveBacklink Auditing, manageLink Disavowalprocesses, and identify strategicPR and digital mention opportunities.Operational & Client ManagementClient Onboarding:Execute the full client hand-off process from sales, prepare the standard SEO kickoff meeting agenda, and manage initial access requests for all necessary tools (GSC, GA4, CMS, FTP).Workflow Setup:Establish and configure project management tools (e.g., Teamwork, Agency Analytics) and time tracking for new client projects.Internal Communication & Reporting:Manage the process for escalating urgent client requests or technical blockers. Adhere to the standard procedure forweekly/monthly client reporting(template, metrics, delivery) and document strategy updates for Account Managers.Technical & Analytical ExpertiseExpert Proficiencyin mandatory SEO tools, includingAhrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and others for auditing and research.Deep knowledge ofGoogle Analytics (GA4),Google Search Console (GSC), andGoogle Tag Managersetup and configuration.Demonstrable ability to set up custom reports and client-facing dashboards.Procedural & Soft SkillsProven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.Proactive Problem Solving: Moving beyond just reporting an issue to actively proposing and testing solutions, taking ownership of the outcome.Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Given the frequent changes in search engine algorithms (Core Updates), the ability to rapidly research, understand, and adapt strategies based on new industry developments is crucial.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document complex strategy (Loom experience is a plus).Understanding of SEO prioritisation and task assignment workflows.Minimum2 yearsof handson experience in an SEOfocused role (agency experience preferred).As the Senior SEO Specialist at Digital Nomads HQ you will be working closely with the SEO team and SEO Manager on a range of campaign sizes from small local businesses to large enterprises.Apply today and be a part of something awesome!We work hard, play hard, and never skip the good coffee.
